How easy (or not ) is it to get pro USB audio interfaces to work with a Hackintosh.

I'm an audio and video professional and I'm thinking about building the kind of modular mac that apple just don't make. I'm obviously looking into the Hackintosh route but can't find much info on running pro audio interfaces.

I'm a bit a noob here ( as far as Hackintosh goes ) but I'm really just wondering how easy ( or not ) it is to get third party USB interfaces to work, I currently have an RME Babyface Pro ( USB 2 ) and have access to an Apollo twin ( Thunderbolt 3 via USB-C ) running UAD plugins.

Anyone else running this kind of hardware who can give me a heads up here? Do they work OK as regards latency etc.

Thanks in advance.
