Hackintosh success but still looking for WiFi solution

Hi everyone,

I've tried searching but couldn't really find exactly what I was looking for... So I've got my hackintosh working pretty well (specs below) and the only thing I'm missing is working WiFi for Airplay and Handoff, etc.

I should probably go with PCIe but as it's a uATX I don't have much space under the GPU and wouldn't really want to restrict the air flow too much.

That said, I have a free M.2 slot but I'm not 100% if this works the same as the M.2 slots on laptops. So forgive me for noobing out:

Can I get a BCM94360CS2 and an M.2 adapter and stick it in the M.2 slot? https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z370-G-GAMING-WI-FI-AC/ is what I have.

Else, would you consider this a good idea? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dual-Band-BCM94360CS2-PCI-E-867Mbps-802-11AC-BT4-0-Wifi-PCI-Express-Adapter-Card/282961128646?hash=item41e1cc2cc6:g:1S8AAOSwvwRcOcFe&frcectupt=true

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!
