Hi,
I'm trying to install Mojave on an external drive, it's an ADATA SU650 480GB in a ADATA ED600 rack. I'm using a HP Omen 15-ce008nq laptop, for this one i want to use, and when I'm trying to install, I see no other drives can be seen by mac installer, other than flash drive and the external drive.
When I go on with the installer, I can't select any drive (flash drive or external one), i get this message: you may not install to this volume because the computer is missing a firmware partition.
Tried booting with -v and I've noticed it hanging at "could not recover sata hdd after 5 attempts, terminating" and trying a buch of times.
What can be the problem and do you have any suggestions to make it work?
