GTX 970 physically installed, but can it be configured to be disabled when booting to MacOS?

I want to try this Hackintosh deal and I have the required hardware, but as far as I know, my 970 is a no go without modification. But I'd be fine with integrated graphics. Anything I do that requires the extra horsepower will be done on windows.

Would it be seamless to have the 970 for graphics on Windows, then boot into MacOS and have it be automatically disabled, using the Intel HD graphics? Without going into the bios every time.
