I want to transform an old PC on an hackintosh, but I would like to know if it is compatible.

As the title says I have an old PC from my brother and I don't do anything with it, it is just collecting dust. Today I had the idea to transform it in a hackintosh, but the problem is that I don't know many things about hackintosh and I would like to know if it would be compatible and if the performance would be good or not.
