Hey all, I've been a Hackintosh video editor for years now and wanted to add in a M.2 NVMe 2TB hard drive for some added speed. But after I've installed it, it's not being recognized at all. Not even in the BIOs. The only way I can get the CPU to recognize it is using a 16x PCIE input for it. Then I can see it in the BIOs but not when I boot up OSX. I've gone through a lot of the variables in the BIOs but no luck.
Here is my motherboard - Gigabyte Intel Z77 LGA 1155 Dual UEFI BIOS ATX Motherboard GA-Z77-DS3H
And SSD - Intel 660p M.2 2280 2TB NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
I'm not great at building computers but I'm learning. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
