I've been thinking to hackintosh my laptop into a separate partition recently, but after reading some posts of people bricking their motherboard and some even breaking their computer installing hackintosh I'm kinda scared, since the mobo isn't interchangeable on laptops. My specs are: i5 7300hq 8GB DDR4 1TB 7200RPM HDD GTX 1050Ti

It's my main laptop and the only one with decent graphics (the other is a 2011 MacBook with Intel HD 3000, even the HD 630 is way better), and if it bricked I couldn't be able to buy a new one.
What are the risks of hackintoshing?
