Hi!
I am rocking an old Dell Studio XPS 1647 with 1st gen Core i3 and ATI Radeon HD 4670 and I was thinking about running macOS on this old cow. The point is, that GPU is way too old for Mojave (Metal support) and afaik iGPU is locked in BIOS for some odd reason (but still, it would require Kext rollback to run iGPU).
As far as I can tell running something like El Capitan or Sierra might result in success and a good running Mac, but does it make sense? I was planning it in dual boot with Linux (single hdd, another problem) and use it as a daily.
