I bought my parts one at a time over the last few months as I found good prices on things or they went on sale, and the motherboard was last.
I was referencing some solid builds I had seen from others using my case (Node 202) so was planning on getting a Gigabyte Z370 Wifi and performing the broadcom wifi chip + adapter swap to take advantage of native support for wifi/bluetooth features.
Imagine my surprise then when I discovered that not only is that board now out of production and apparently unavailable... but moreover it seems that more or less EVERY mini-ITX z370 chipset intel board is out of stock. ASUS, ASRock, Gigabyte... all of them nowhere to be found.
The z390 ones from the above brands can still be found, but I have heard that the swap for the wifi fix is more difficult/impossible depending on the board, and possibly requires a second adapter?
Any tips or advice (or links) appreciated.
