Apologies in advance, I'm aware this is almost certainly not the right place to post this. However, I'm a bit lost - I've got an old Intel Mac Mini (2006 model) which has been hardware upgraded to a Core 2 Duo. Due to a failed install of Sangoma OS, it's currently got no operating system at all.
Some Linux Live CDs or USB sticks will boot happily, others just get ignored.
I think I've got the 32bit EFI and a 64 bit system.
Anyone got any tips on how I can install (at this point!) any distro of Linux? Probably veering towards CentOS at this point.
Is it a massive headache or is it quite doable with the right ISO?
Do you NEED a working OS X partition to do it or can it be installed onto a virgin spinning lump of metal?
Any help much appreciated...
