I'm stuck on HS because I have an Nvidia card, and everything has been working fine, except disk performance is terrible.
For example, doing a Spotlight search for "calculator" takes around 15-20 seconds to show the first result. Simply opening a text document in Sublime Text can freeze for the same amount of time.
Build times in Xcode projects are atrocious. As I'm typing this post in Firefox I'm getting random long freezes. Even basic terminal commands like clear can take 15 seconds to complete. This morning it took almost half and hour to boot.
It's at a point where the freezes aren't frequent enough to make the computer unusable, yet they're frequent enough to be super annoying.
I don't think that the HDD is bad since I had Ubuntu working on it previously with zero problems, but it's of course possible. I figured I'd see if anyone here has had a similar experience with their Hackintosh first before I go through the painful process of reinstalling on a new disk.
