I'm trying to save a kernel log where it panics and auto reboots while trying to install. Of course there's nothing written to the destinations /var/log since it's not made yet. I tried enabling all the debug stuff but only get a OpenCore log on the EFI partition. Tried Lilu boot-args that should dump the logs to disk but where does it dump these when nothing has been installed yet?
Is the only way serial logging? Using a webcam to record did help some but it scrolls by very fast and pausing doesn't always have readable text. So I'm not sure what exactly goes wrong.
Is it even possible to dump the kernel logs somewhere on the installer stick instead? There must be a way to log this without setting up serial logging.
I also tried disabling the auto reboot which also doesn't work. No matter which related quirks and boot-flags I use it always auto-reboots.
