I have a collection of older hardware and wanted advice on building a hackingtosh machine. not sure on what OS would be suitiable for each system, whether it is the latest or most suitable. im not using these for anything too intense but i am intrested in the software and playing with hardware.
System 1: (2010)
Motherboard: Some Janky Packard Bell iMedia Motherboard S3810
CPU: i3 550 @ 3.2 Ghz
RAM: 8GB DDR 3 @ 1333MHz (4x 2GB)
GPU: Not Sure yet but please suggest :)
Storage: 160GB Intel Sata SSD
System 2: (2014)
Motherboard: HSGM motherboard H81-V8185 (Chinese MOBO) or Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3
CPU: i5 4460 or i5 4690k
RAM: 16GB DDR 3 @ 1600Mhz (2X 8GB)
GPU: Please Suggest :0
Storage: 240 Sata SSD or m.2 NVME 256GB on chinese Mobo (if that is even compatible and bios)
