 | Hi, I recently had a fully working Mackintosh in a Dell Optiplex 5050 (I5-6500, RX580, 40GB DDR4 RAM, 240GB NVME SSD). It was all fully working until, I bought a new CPU (I7-6700), and the person I bought it from was kind enough to send me a motherboard for free. I believe it is originally from an HP Elitedesk 800 G2 TWR. So with the new parts all put into a regular ATX chassis, everything works, I was so surprised, I had to do nothing! Although, I've recently noticed that in the OC boot picker and for the first bit of the Apple logo loading screen, the resolution is awful. Ive tried fixing it with the screenshot above as I have researched and that is what I was told to do. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks [link] [comments] |
