| | A few days ago, I successfully set up a functioning Hackintosh, and I'm wondering what upgrades I should consider to make it faster. Currently, I have an SSD with SATA interface, boasting read speeds of 548 MB/s and write speeds of 150 MB/s. My system is powered by a Ryzen 7 2700X, Radeon RX 6650 XT, and 16 GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 Fury RAM. I've also utilized the nootrx.kext to ensure my graphics card functions properly. Unfortunately, I can't upgrade to an SSD M.2 with PCIe 4.0 support because my motherboard, a Gigabyte B450M H, doesn't support PCIe 4.0. [link] [comments] |
