How to use GPU acceleration from GT 740M

Laptop Specs:

I5-4800U Intel HD 4400 GT 740M (GK208M)

I currently have the GPU disabled. I can only find guides online for the PC version not the mobile one. I finished installing Monterey and I'm planning to update to Sonoma using OCLP.

If I do it in Monterey now, can I use it in Sonoma without issues?

My SMBIOS is currently running a Macbook 15,4 as I need it to update to Sonoma.
