Sequoia on Raven2 CPU - UPDATE

Sequoia on Raven2 CPU - UPDATE

Since the first post, I’ve made some improvements on the Sequoia experience on this PC. Almost everything works now, except audio (AppleALC presumably can’t work on Sequoia on AMD CPUs, according to the NootedRed guy), however for that I use the workaround of connecting my speaker through Bluetooth that thankfully works as it should. The battery is now correctly detected and works as in previous versions of macOS, as well as video acceleration after NootedRed got updated. Don’t worry about the serial number as I changed it.

Specs: Manufacturer - HP MB - HP 87B7 BIOS revision - F.52, used Smokeless-UMAF to lower VRAM from 2GB to 1GB CPU - AMD 3020e GPU - AMD Radeon Vega 3 Display resolution -1366x768 RAM - 8GB Audio - Realtek ALC236 (completely broken, tested all layouts; layout 3 worked well in Sonoma and older) Wireless card - Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165, previously Realtek RTL8821CE Ethernet card - none Boot volume - 250GB partition on 500GB Seagate connected via USB, the other has Ventura; previously installed on a 100GB Fujitsu

Despite being installed on a hard disk, the system runs really smooth despite having hiccups from time to time; anyway I will install it on the main SSD once I find another computer for the Windows beta. I’m also publishing this with my second phone, an iPhone XR with iOS 18, so I will be able to try (almost) everything that will get introduced!
