I already own an M1 MacBook Air and given only one external display is supported, I'm thinking of building a Hackintosh to which 2-3 displays would be connected. (Not into Displaylink or Instant view solution due to reported lag)
Done my reading & research past several weeks; if I were to go Universal Control route highest version possible is Ventura with Broadcom wifi/ bluetooth card for native support. Thing is, Ventura security update is expected to end in late 2025.
My question is, is there a way (say an app that requires USB connection between my MBA & Hackintosh) that allow keyboard/ mouse sharing reliably without lag so I can use my bluetooth connected kb/ mouse (to the MBA) with a Hackintosh? That way I can keep using the most current MacOS version for the Hackintosh for security reason.
