| Follow up to https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/s/lPIP0cwLAh Changes from last time: use/inject Lilu Sequoia PR (adds Sequoia constants) and compile NootedRed master with the same Lilu.kext. Used Sonoma144 patches in my local branch by adjusting maxversion to Sequoia, this same modification was published by Visual to master just recently, and is all that is needed for acceleration on DB1. Looks like Vega kexts are on maintenance mode Works: QE/CI/Metal, keyboard, usb3/usb-c 10gb, 3 simultaneous displays all accelerated, touchscreen (only single touch point- multi touch broken), AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement, stock NVMe (unsure if NVMeFixup is operational or not, but stock KIOXIA should work fine regardless. I am booting off UASP NVMe, but accessing my Sonoma built in NVMe. unsure if booting from native NVMe would induce problems) Broken: audio (appleALC not updated yet), touchpad (only click works, no tracking-probably VoodooI2C partially broken), Wi-Fi (though itlwm + heliport May work), Bluetooth (patcher kext kernel panics) Untested: RTS5227 pcie card reader (open source kext), hdmi audio (will report back - am very busy in uni rn and this is my main laptop) She’s alive for at least one more year!! 🫶🫶 [link] [comments] |
