So guys, I’ve entered the hackintosh back in 2018, once I switched from a 2013 Mac mini to a build with an 8700 and a 1060. So, as you guys know, I was stuck in high sierra for a while.
So, long story short, my desktop stayed at my parents house for 3 years, and I’d use it once in a while, so, high sierra was fine for me, but last year I’ve decided to buy an rx580 so that I’d be able to upgrade to Ventura.
When I got back in the forums I’ve heard of open core and clover was basically dead, and that got me really curious since I was hearing about clover bootloader since 2011, and in my head, that was synonymous with hackintoshing.
So, I’ve always been curious on how was the transition from clover to OC. Was it fast? Was it smooth?
I have the feeling that clover was way more vanilla, but OC works way better.
So, basically, if you have nothing to do, and would like to share how those days were, I’d be happy to read.
Thanks guys
