2016 MacBook Pro Sequoia 15.3.1 Extended Display Issues

I have a 2016 MacBook Pro That I Recently upgraded to sequoia using OCLP (which was a mostly seamless process). Now before doing the update I would regularly extend my desktop to an iPad mini wirelessly, but now whenever I extend the display it gives me a black screen. I now have to connect the iPad via wired connection to be able to use it as a display (which isn't the worst thing in the world but I sometimes need the port). Is this a limitation of OCLP. Should I just deal with it until an update? or is there some more troubleshooting I could try?
I normally don't post but my searches have returned empty handed.
