At my wits end.. Question re: OCLP and power issue..

I have a 2015 MBA running OCLP and Sequioa. The system works great but for ONE totally bizarre power issue. I use true hibernation (hibernationmode=25) and here's the issue.. With a fully charged battery, I close the lid, the system is unused for a day or so, when I, then, open the lid, the system does not resume. If I press the power button, I get the flashing red "battery dead, connect charger" on the screen. However, here's the absolute bizarre thing. When I do connect the charger, and press the power button, the system immediately resumes and when I see the battery status on the topbar, its showing 100%, and I can disconnect the charger and the system continues to run. Like something has confused the battery system to need a "kickstart" to recover.

I've posted this question on the r/applehelp sub and after a week or so, gotten {crickets}. I'd been a Linux user for years and decided to check out MacOS and a cheap ($150) MBA. Naturally I was attracted to OCLP as it allows me to run the -nearly- latest MacOS, which allows me to install/use programs like Garageband and iMovie, which I couldn't install when I was on Catalina.

IS it possible that this issue is a sideeffect of OCLP? Hopefully some one here has the answer....
