First off, it's a VM running on Ubuntu. I don't know if that disqualifies the setup being considered "Hackintosh" or not. The app store shows the update available, I download it and reboot, and the update still shows in the app store. This is my first experience with anything having to do with Apple, so I'm unsure if this is an OS problem, or a VM problem. Other downloaded updates, like security and such, applied correctly so I know it is capable of saving changes.
