So, my 2011 27" iMac is slowly dying, so I was looking at alternatives, namely a MacBook Pro or the most recent iMac.
Then it dawned on me, I got a working PC under my desk, that I rarely use.
Maybe someone with a similiar configuration could tell me if this is suitable to be my daily driver:
- MSI B250l Pro
- G4560 CPU, that I want to replace with a 4-core i5, I was looking at the i5-7600 for this
- M.2 SSD
- a free M.2 slot for a WiFi card (I need one, no Ethernet near my desk)
- Radeon RX480 Nitro 8GB
So I'm also looking for advice regarding the WiFi card and the CPU (does it matter if it's an i5-7400/7500/7600?)
