OCLP 3.0 Archive: Experimental macOS Tahoe Support

macOS tahoe

Preserving Early macOS Tahoe Compatibility

For enthusiasts wanting to test the very first builds of macOS Tahoe on legacy Intel Macs, this archived version of OCLP 3.0 Nightly is an essential resource.

Important Considerations:

  1. Experimental Only: This is NOT a stable release. Expect bugs, crashes, and broken features (like Wi-Fi or Graphics Acceleration).
  2. Backup Mandatory: Never install an experimental OCLP build on your primary machine without a full Time Machine backup.
  3. Untouched Files: These files are direct from the original GitHub Actions artifact, ensuring they are safe and unmodified.
  4. Future Support: Official Tahoe support will eventually be integrated into the main OCLP public releases. Use this archive only if you need immediate testing.

Original Question: "Archived Last Known Working OCLP 3.0 Tahoe Experimental Build"

I managed to preserve one of the last known working OpenCore Legacy Patcher 3.0 experimental/nightly builds with early macOS Tahoe support before the original GitHub Actions artifact expired.

This is NOT an official stable Dortania release and is being shared strictly for archival/testing purposes for unsupported Intel Macs.

The files are untouched from the original artifact and have not been modified.

Included:

  • Original archived build
  • Release information
  • Source code references
  • Pre-release labeling to avoid confusion

Use at your own risk. Tahoe support is still highly experimental and may not work correctly on all Macs.
