Successful Upgrade to Sequoia 15.7.7
The latest security update, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, has been confirmed to work well on legacy Macs using OCLP 2.4.1.
Critical Update Notes:
- Disable Auto-Updates: Always update manually so you can ensure you have the latest OCLP version ready to apply root patches.
- SMBIOS Spoofing: For 2017 iMacs, using the iMac 19,1 SMBIOS model ensures that Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and AirPlay Receiver work perfectly.
- Metal Support: This update requires the latest MetallibSupportPkg-15.7.7 for full graphics acceleration on older GPUs.
- Tahoe Warning: macOS Tahoe 26.3 is currently NOT compatible with OCLP 2.4.1. Do not attempt this upgrade on a production machine.
