How to Restore Missing EFI Boot Picker on iMac 17,1

Fixing Missing OpenCore EFI after NVRAM Reset

Resetting the NVRAM clears the 'bless' on the OpenCore partition. If you can't see the EFI Boot anymore, your Mac has reverted to its factory boot behavior.

How to Recover:

  1. Use the USB Installer: Plug in the OCLP USB you created. Hold Option on boot. The EFI Boot from the USB should appear. Select it, then select your internal macOS partition.
  2. Re-Bless the Drive: Once in macOS, open the OCLP app and click Build and Install OpenCore. Target your internal SSD. This will re-write the boot variables.
  3. Startup Disk: Go to System Settings > General > Startup Disk and select your macOS drive.
  4. Wired Keyboard: If the Option key isn't working, ensure you are using a Wired USB Keyboard. Wireless/Bluetooth keyboards often don't initialize early enough after an NVRAM reset.

Original Question: "OCLP messing up, help!"

OCLP messing up, help!

So, I've been trying to install macOS Sequoia on an iMac 17,1 and omg it's so painful, now when I just been able to put the installer into my partition, now the EFI doesn't want to appear in the Boot Picker, only my main drive and my BootCamp partition appears (See image below), and one guy here told to try resetting the NVRAM with a key combination on startup, and after that now for some fricking I can't even access to the boot picker anymore, like wtf, please can someone explain how the flip deal with this bs.
