Apple CEO Tim Cook has written an email to employees addressing the effects of Hurricane Harvey. In the email, which was obtained by BuzzFeed, Cook says Apple has donated $2 million to relief efforts and helped raise an additional $1 million over the past few days.Texas is home to over 8,700 Apple employees and the company has a global crisis management team working to support those directly affect by the flooding.
