I got my audio working pretty consistently for a while. I had ALC 1150. Every once in a while, after rebooting, it would only show 4 "Digital-out (HDMI)" under output devices and the speaker icon would be grayed out, rather than the green line-out (the correct one). Now it stopped changing back and only shows "Digital-out (HDMI)" and the grayed out sound icon.
