Dual Booting Question

Hi,

I just got my first Hackintosh running, and I was wondering something.

I don't really want to reinstall Windows, even though the SATA setting screwed it up. If I were to boot back into Windows, could I just boot into the BIOS, change the SATA setting to IDE, boot into Windows, and, if I want to go back to MacOS, could I change the SATA setting to AHCI, and be fine?

TL;DR -

Could I switch the SATA settings every time I want to boot into either MacOS or Windows?
