I'm trying to do the unreasonable thing and install Sierra on my laptop (Acer Predator G9-793). It has an i7-6700HQ, GTX 1070 and I can get the installer to boot, but I cannot get the installer to see any of the storage in the machine.
This notebook uses an raid0 configuration for two nvme drives that I cannot change, but the installer doesn't see my physical spinning drive either. I've tried this kext, along with another one for non raid and neither has allowed the installer to see any sata drives. I would greatly appreciate any help, I've also tried IONVMEFamily patches in clover with no luck.
