I'm familiar with the method of using TransMac on a USB drive and restoring a DMG onto that. It doesn't seem that this is possible with a HDD.
I'm having problems with OSX Sierra where I can't boot into the installer because of some issues with USB (getting a "Waiting for device..." message)
What would be optimal if I could format a HDD on Windows for Mac install, partition it (10GB for install, 310GB for OSX) and then boot into the installer through the HDD and install onto the 310GB Partition. Is this possible?
