Old AMD or Nvidia graphics card for Final Cut?

I have an AMD 6950 that is incompatible with OSX. I am looking to swap it out with someone for something that is compatible, of a comparable age to the 6950.

Which would be better for Final Cut? An old Nvidia or old AMD?
