nVidia card problems? Is what Im trying to achieve possible, as easy to do?

Hey all, I'm thinking about installing macOS Mojave on a drive that I have. I'll start off by listing my basic specs.

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz Unlocked Quad Core Skylake Desktop Processor

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, 8GB GDDR5

Motherboard: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, 8GB GDDR5

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD

HDD: Toshiba 3.5-Inch 2TB 7200 RPM SATA3/SATA 6.0 GB/s 64MB Hard Drive DT01ACA200

I am currently running Windows 10 on the SSD. I use the HDD to store a bunch of whatever. I would like to partition it to keep my files that are on there available, and install macOS Mojave on the other portion of the disk.

What is the best course to take to keep my files and partition and reformat the other portion for Mojave? And keep these files accessible from both operating systems?

I would like to continue to boot into Windows and be able to go into the boot order or something if I so choose to use the macOS at the moment.

What exactly are the issues with Nvidia cards? If I install it the os, does my screen just go blank unless I plug HDMI to my board?

Ive read the Vanilla guide. I know I've also read that this should be achievable without using a mac or VM mac to create the installer, but use Transmac instead. Is this not recommended?

Can I maybe get some other tutorials that have worked for some with similar setups to mine?
