I'm using this build (https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/b3spgk/z370md3h_rx580_i78700_with_bt_wifi_audio_usb_and/) since more than a year. I'm quite happy with the general performance and, in order to do some casual gaming, I'm dual booting into Win 10. I have to say gaming performance is not as good as I expected: in Transport Fever 2 @1440p I get some serious lags in crowded maps and other games may run "ok" but the GPU is struggling to keep the frame rate constant.
Is there a graphic card that I could invest money on (maximum budget 500 EUR + I can sell the old one) with a clear benefit in gaming performance in Windows? I also want to retain compatibility with MacOS as well. Or maybe because of how I configured my build the bottleneck is likely to be somewhere else?
