I followed this page closely: https://1revenger1.gitbook.io/laptop-guide/post-installation/adding-clover-to-the-bios but couldn't get the EFI to be configured properly from the BIOS. One thing that did strike me as odd was that when I was trying to unmount the USBEFI, it kept saying "couldn't unmount /Volumes/USBEFI". Anyone got any other way or clues as to what I did wrong?
