Hello,
I am working on some large illustration files and finding that my Hackintosh is having trouble keeping up. I think the best option is more RAM, but I wanted to ask your advice as to assure I'm making the best choice.
Currently, my system is:
Aorus Z370 Gaming 53.7 GHz Intel i7-8700k16GB Corsair Vengeance RamEVGA GeForce 1080 Ti
I am considering just ordering 16 more GB of the current ram I have to top it up to 32, however, I am wondering if it might be worth just getting 2 16 GB of faster ram?
Here are the specs on the ram I have now.
Corsair CML16GX3M2A1600C10 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 1.5V
I've got them running at 3200 MHz (or at least that is what it is telling me). My concern is getting the right ram for my system while not compromising my Hackintosh which is running great at the moment.
Thoughts?
