How to Fix Purchase List - Any advice or suggestions
Network issues on Hackintosh or unsupported Macs are typically caused by chipset incompatibility, incorrect kext pairing, or corrupted network preferences.
Quick Fix Steps
- Identify your network chipset: Open System Information > Wi-Fi/Bluetooth or use Hackintool.
- Use the correct kext: For Intel Wi-Fi use AirportItlwm, for Broadcom use BrcmPatchRAM, for Ethernet use IntelMausi or RealtekRTL8111.
- Reset network preferences: Delete /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.airport.preferences.plist and reboot.
- Check privacy settings: System Settings > Privacy > Location Services must be enabled.
Verification
- Wi-Fi connects after reboot.
- Bluetooth pairs and stays connected.
- Location Services works in Maps.

Original Question: "Purchase List - Any advice or suggestions?"
Hey everyone,
I'm planning on building a machine to replace my Mid-2015 Macbook Pro, this will be my first Hackintosh.
I'll be using this as a audio mixing/recording workstation. I have some older firewire audio gear that I use for now, hence the Vision D Motherboard w/Thunderbolt3. Any suggestions or recommendations based on my list? I'll be installing Catalina (to start).
Should I maybe wait until the 6800xt's are available and fully supported on Big Sur? I plan on dual booting and running some games as well. I was also wanting to switch to two 970 Evo Plus SSD's, but a friend advised me against it as he says it can be less reliable than the regular 970.
Intel Core i9-10900K
Cooler: Noctua NH-D15S
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z490 VISION D
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury 64 GB DDR4-3200 CL16
Storage: 2x Samsung 970 Evo 1TB + 2x WD Black 4 TB
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB NITRO+
PSU: SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Platinum 750W
Case: Fractal Meshify S2 White-TG E-ATX
Wireless Network Adapter: fenvi FV-T919 (I will be mostly hardwired though)
