How to Fix z390-I aorus wont post with CSM disabled
Network issues on Hackintosh or unsupported Macs are typically caused by chipset incompatibility, incorrect kext pairing, or corrupted network preferences.
Quick Fix Steps
- Identify your network chipset: Open System Information > Wi-Fi/Bluetooth or use Hackintool.
- Use the correct kext: For Intel Wi-Fi use AirportItlwm, for Broadcom use BrcmPatchRAM, for Ethernet use IntelMausi or RealtekRTL8111.
- Reset network preferences: Delete /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.airport.preferences.plist and reboot.
- Check privacy settings: System Settings > Privacy > Location Services must be enabled.
Verification
- Wi-Fi connects after reboot.
- Bluetooth pairs and stays connected.
- Location Services works in Maps.

Guide I followed: https://github.com/vpoola88/gigabyte-z390-i-aorus-pro-wifi-hackintosh
The issue I'm having is despite following and almost having identical hardware as the user in the linked guide, when I select the same bios settings as him all I get is a black screen. Not even the ability to boot back into my bios. I was able to boot back into my bios by resetting the cmos and narrowed the culprit to "disabling csm" in my bios settings. Because disabling csm causes my mobo not to post, I left it enabled contrary to the guide resulting in the following error: https://ibb.co/pKfdvb5
Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated as the whole point of me building this mini-itx box was for a hackintosh lol. Thanks
