Hey guys, I am stuck even before I started. Right after the OC picker when I choose "Install Mac OS Big Sur" it goes straight to Apple logo without any verbose text (-v is in the boot args section.) I've left it there for an hour with no progress. Any idea on what to do next? I've remade my USB installer with a different drive and I've also just tried putting my current working EFI folder in there but same thing happens. No hardware changes were made.
As a background, I have been using a hack from some time now, starting with clover/HS and now have a fully functioning OC/Catalina machine. Now, mostly to get better performance out of my 5700XT, I decided I wanted to upgrade to Big Sur. I want to do a fresh install just to keep things clean. So I'm not a total noob but no expert either.
