How to Fix When I click install macOS it shutdown after showing verbose
Boot failures are caused by firmware settings, incorrect OpenCore configuration, or USB mapping problems.
Quick Fix Steps
- Boot verbose: Add
-v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100. - Check firmware: Disable Secure Boot, Fast Boot, CFG Lock; set SATA to AHCI.
- Validate OpenCore: Run ocvalidate or ProperTree clean snapshot.
- Recreate installer: Fresh USB drive, different port.
Verification
- Verbose boot passes the previous stop.
- Installer sees the target disk.

I booted my PC from usb and selected macOS Big Sur (external) and I got through the verbose and made my ssd as apfs with guid and then clicked install big Sur and then it installed and then restarted. then clicked macOS installer from boot options and it showed 29 minutes remaining with apple logo and then restarted again! But when I click macOS installer again after the Above restart it just show verbose for few seconds and then restarts again! It doesn’t finish the install.
