Hey there
I am looking to install macOS Catalina on an external hard drive, that of which is not an SSD but rather a plain, old HDD. I found a guide that can be used to install the OS on a partition within an internal hard drive in my PC, but I need to do it on an external.

Is it possible to use this method and create a bootable macOS system on my external drive, with Unibeast and all of that? The reason I would like to do this is that I would like to run Logic Pro X using the much more powerful system hardware on my PC as compared with my Macbook Pro, which frankly is not an optimal circumstance for doing that. The above guide does not specify whether or not you have the option to select an external drive to install the operating system onto.
I'm also going to be using the external to install from, which I read in comments section for another reddit post is indeed possible by creating a partition on the external drive that is 16 gb in size, or less.
Any informed guidance would be massively appreciated! Also, happy new year 2021 here we goooo lol...
