My C drive currently sits inside a 500GB ssd inside a custom built PC, but the C drive storage is almost maxed out, so I'm thinking of buying a new 1TB ssd. Is it easy as just installing the new disk, copying my C drive over to new disk, booting my computer from the new disk, checking if the system / Windows works fine on the new SSD, and then erasing the C drive from the ssd I copied from? Is this the right approach or am I missing something important here?
