Original Question:
Hello, I have an old pc (i5 6500) and an old MacBook air (late 2010) and I want to use parts from both of them to make a hackintosh (thought id be a fun project). I'm planning to reuse the BT/WIFI card from the MacBook, I don't really want to just get something like the fenvi FV-T919, that's out of my budget. I would like to know:
Does BT/WIFI card (661-5687 I think) from Model A1370 work on newer macOS versions? if so
What key is it
- what is a good PCIe adapter for it?
- I have an m.2 slot on mobo but I want to use that for ssd
Does mac support nvme ssd?
What M.2 key is the SSD from Model A1370
- what is a good PCIe adapter for it?
Thanks in advance, also feel free to give any advice for first-timer, I've been building PCs for quite a long time now but never used apple stuff.
