Hello,
I'm currently working on my first OC Hackintosh, following the dortania guide https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide
I downloaded the recovery media for 10.14 with the command provided here: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/installer-guide/linux-install.html#downloading-macos and put that onto my USB drive. I'm experiencing some issues in getting it to boot, so I had to take a look at the opencore debug log and noticed the following:
21:101 00:029 OCOS: OS set: <null> Mac OS X 10.12 21:130 00:028 OCOS: OS set: Apple Inc. Mac OS X 10.12 Why does the 10.14 installer report as being Mac OS X 10.12? Is it based on 10.12 and only has hardware compatability with hardware that was released back then?
Also tested with 10.15 and that reports as Mac OS X 10.15.
