How to Fix OpenCore 0.6.7 - Unable to boot without USB.

This mini-guide provides a structural approach to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Prerequisites

  • Confirm your hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, Motherboard).
  • Ensure you have a bootable recovery USB and backup your EFI.

Fix Steps

  1. Boot with -v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 to identify the exact kernel panic.
  2. Validate your config.plist using ocvalidate.
  3. Ensure your EFI matches the Dortania guide specifications for your CPU generation.

Verification

  • Reboot and verify if the functionality is restored and stable under typical usage.

Original Question:

Yes, I have read the section on the guide about how to boot without USB.

The EFI files are on the EFI partition, correctly.

2 Separate drives, one with macOS and one with Windows.

When I select the drive that has macOS on it however, the screen flashes for a few seconds, then it just boots into Windows.

Any help?
