How to Fix Virtualization Perfomance
This mini-guide provides a structural approach to troubleshoot and fix the issue.
Prerequisites
- Confirm your hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, Motherboard).
- Ensure you have a bootable recovery USB and backup your EFI.
Fix Steps
- Review your system logs and verbose boot output for specific error codes.
- Ensure your OpenCore and kexts are up to date.
- Compare your configuration with the official Dortania guidelines.
Verification
- Reboot and verify if the functionality is restored and stable under typical usage.
Original Question:
I'm sure it's been asked before, but whats the difference in performance between a well implemented macOS VM and an installed hackintosh? I'm saying this because I've been using windows and I'm sick of it, and just happen to have compatible parts... the only problem is I'm on Ryzen and I'm an Adobe user. Heard those two don't go well together on a Hackintosh. So, from that point of view, does stability balances out the performance hit? By about how much would a VM be slower than another solution?
