How to Fix An hackintosh inside my old 2006 macbook?

This mini-guide provides a structural approach to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Prerequisites

  • Confirm your hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, Motherboard).
  • Ensure you have a bootable recovery USB and backup your EFI.

Fix Steps

  1. Check your ACPI patches (SSDTs) for battery and trackpad (e.g., VoodooI2C, SMCBatteryManager).
  2. Ensure you have applied the correct IRQ patches if audio or trackpad is missing.
  3. Perform an NVRAM reset after modifying SMC-related kexts.

Verification

  • Reboot and verify if the functionality is restored and stable under typical usage.

Original Question:

I'm having the stupidest idea ever born in mankind. I have a 2006 white macbook which i personally love it for its aestethic, that design (i don't know why) is unresistable to me. On the other hand, is old as fuck and unusable. So hear me out: could i put inside the case (in some kind of horrifing way) the internals of an hackintosh compatible pc just to use the onboard screen, keyboard and touchpad?
