How to Fix Fenvi T919 / BCM94360CD bluetooth suddenly stopped working (Opencore 0.6.9, Big Sur 10.4)

This mini-guide provides a structural approach to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Prerequisites

  • Confirm your hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, Motherboard).
  • Ensure you have a bootable recovery USB and backup your EFI.

Fix Steps

  1. Verify your network controller model (Intel, Broadcom, Realtek).
  2. Ensure the correct kext (e.g., AirportItlwm or BrcmPatchRAM) is loaded in your config.
  3. Clear network interfaces and reset NVRAM if changes don't apply.

Verification

  • Reboot and verify if the functionality is restored and stable under typical usage.

Original Question:

My bluetooth randomly decided to stop working. This happened the other day as well. However, it started working again after I left the computer off overnight. I have tried simple solutions such as resetting the NVRAM and reconnecting the card to the PCI slot and USB header. I mapped my USB ports and ensured that the (only) internal USB 2.0 header is marked as internal (255). The card shows up in Hackintool and ioRegistryExplorer as BRCM20702 Hub. I am happy to provide any configuration/setup details.
