How to Fix Black screen issue after verbose with HDMI connector. Maybe this is not even possible?

This mini-guide provides a structural approach to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Prerequisites

  • Confirm your hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, Motherboard).
  • Ensure you have a bootable recovery USB and backup your EFI.

Fix Steps

  1. Verify your network controller model (Intel, Broadcom, Realtek).
  2. Ensure the correct kext (e.g., AirportItlwm or BrcmPatchRAM) is loaded in your config.
  3. Clear network interfaces and reset NVRAM if changes don't apply.

Verification

  • Reboot and verify if the functionality is restored and stable under typical usage.

Original Question:

config:

OpenCore 0.7.0

Catalina 10.15.7

  • CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K Octa-Core 3.6GHz (Coffee Lake)
  • GPU: iGPU (Intel® UHD Graphics 630) (no external GPU)
  • Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z390 UD (only 1 video connector: HDMI)
  • Audio: Realtek® ALC887 kodek
  • Network: Realtek® GbE LAN chip (10/100/1000 Mbit)
  • SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB M.2
  • MEM: Kingston HyperX Predator 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz HX432C16PB3K2/16

Guide: Dortania

config: config.plist

I tried several platform-ids, without success, so i dug further and i found the busId patch guide which leads to WhateverGreen manual. In the "CFL/CML connectors" section I did NOT find any busId with ConnectorHDMI.

Does this mean it's not possible to solve this issue?
